Kit or separate? The rule
A kit is worth buying when the bag in it is the same model sold separately, the hardware to hang it is included, and the gloves are either a real 14–16 oz training pair or cheap enough to treat as a bonus. A kit is not worth buying when the bag is a light, unbranded model, when there is no hanger and you have no plan for one, or when the “gloves” are 8–10 oz fitness gloves you will replace after the first sore knuckle. What every kit is missing
A real training glove. None of these bundles specifies the glove weight, and the ones that name a model (Elite Cardio, MMA bag gloves) are light fitness gloves. Plan to add a 14–16 oz pair from the beginner glove roundup — the kit's gloves are a spare for pad rounds.
